The installation uses local materials mixed with hidden technology to create a natural sound and visual walk, perfectly integrated in the landscape.
The installation is composed by 20 modules made by a grey tile (typical local roof material), hold by a bamboo cane (maybe the most present material for local handicraft). Through a bamboo structure, on each tile a water drop is left fall, with different drop rates. A little amplification system is hidden inside the cane, making the sound of the drop on the tile a little louder, keeping it natural. The different rates, the different positions and the different tile shape create a complex, constantly changing sound environment. |
